Re: Attack/Incident - Sickle Street, Bolham, May 2nd

Dear MICHAEL J. WAY,

I am writing to inform you of your appointment with a Ministry investigation team on May 13th, 2009. You will be questioned by AUROR R. PATHEL. In accordance with the recent change to International Wizarding Law, you may be accompanied by a legal representative of your choice. Failure to attend this meeting will be regarded with extreme suspicion. I would advise against a sudden change of address.

You are, as of today, relieved of all duties within the Dark and Disguised Objects Office until further notice.

Yours truly,

CAREY A. HAFFLEWAITE,
DEPUTY HEAD, MAGICAL LAW ENFORCEMENT

Re: Your Enquiry (St Mungo's case: 34119)

Dear MICHAEL,

SUSPECT has been moved to a private ward. Visitors are not permitted. Further requests for information along these lines will be disregarded. Attempts to contact presumed Dark collaborators - incarcerated, incapacitated, or otherwise - will weigh heavily against you in the upcoming investigation.

Yours truly,

LANA BJOOR
ASSISTANT TO DEPARTMENT HEAD

FOR: CAREY A. HAFFLEWAITE,
DEPUTY HEAD, MAGICAL LAW ENFORCEMENT

Re: Sabbatical Leave

Dear Mikey,

I gather the investigation went as well as possible and that your name has recently been cleared. It is thus with great regret that I received your last letter.

My colleagues in Lyon would be delighted to hear from you. We would also stand to benefit from your chosen area of research. I hope this period away will allow you to return to us rested and renewed.

Thank you for your contributions to our sub-division as of late. I know it has been a stressful time. You have been an invaluable member of the team and will be sorely missed over the next few months.

All the best,

JADIA FIZZLEWHICK
